Customer ID or Password to anyone else. Your Customer ID and Password are designed to
protect your banking information, but they will only work if you keep
them to yourself.
- Change you First
Texas Online Passwords frequently.
- Don't walk away
from your computer if you are in the middle of a First Texas Online
banking session.
- Once you have
finished your First Texas Online banking session, sign off before visiting
other Internet sites.

Authentication
A Virtual Authentication device is used at
login to protect against identity theft attacks,
including Trojans, Phishing, screen scraping and Proxy-Based fraud.
Unlike traditional authentication methods, Virtual Authentication
Devices secure credentials, even on a compromised computer and/or
Internet connection. Data is secured as it is entered on your
machine and as it is transmitted over the wire.

Encoding
We use
the latest
encoding
technology

be intercepted.
Encryption
is a way
to rewrite

in code,

be decoded

services

instituted

incorrectly
three consecutive
times,
the user
is "locked
